If music be the food of procrastination . . .
(1) You all know my love of Public Radio as well as my love of music that makes me sound cooler than I am. Hence, my new obsession: The Current. It's Minnesota Public Radio's popular music station. It's the most eclectic radio station I've ever heard. They play Tom Waits, Interpol, Willie Nelson, delta blues and 1930's ska music. Awesome.
(2) I made an Amazon wish list. It's the best waste of time EVER.
(3) Go here and listen to "The Wire, Episode 5." It's a radio program on the history of background music. I know it sounds unbelievably boring, but it's actually shockingly beautiful.
(4) Anna came to visit! Pete got into grad school! Sarah and Rob bought a friggin HOUSE!
(5) Spring is so close I can taste it.
UPDATE: I actually put in the correct link for my Amazon wish list. I imagine it makes more sense this way.

Bang, bang. My baby shot me down.
Attention: I'm not dead. Two quick points.
(1) Thanks to Rob for fixing several very large problems with this blog. Umm . . . for instance, the spam. He's got a site now. You should check it out. Unique Identifier
(2) While I'm hoping to revive this blog in some form, I'd like to introduce you to my latest diversion, The Interrobang Project. It's a group opinion journal that I'm starting with a few friends. It's intended to feature longer pieces and (hold your hats) not be relentlessly snarky. I know. I'm a little scared too. At this point there's only one piece up (mine), the design isn't finalized and there's only one username, but feel free to watch me as I try to fix those things.
(3) I . . . um . . . missed you guys. I feel like I haven't spoken to a lot of old friends in a long time. I mean . . . hold on a sec . . . I think . . . I think I got something in my eye.
