Heavy Snow
Washington is so quiet when it snows.
In honor of our weather today, a poem by Ko Un:
Heavy SnowOn days of heavy snow
even the animals
quietly withdraw into their homes
despite their gnawing hunger.
I stay home too.Since there’s heavy snow
our country has no need of religion.Gosh! How creepy our country’s religions are.
